Heading into India Art Fair 2017, we were utterly astonished by the very first glimpse of the fair.
What a grand entry to the celebration which brought many artists under one roof!!

Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja, Sachin Tendulkar and many others indeed added grandeur of the fair.

We have been spending time, checking out the best installation at the event and have picked out the best from the whopping lot.

1. Moneyball by Alberto Echegaray Guevara

Can you ever imagine shredding your money?
Even, we cannot! But Alberto Echegaray Guevara from Venezuela created a Moneyball out of one million dollars. Have a look at this “moneyster” piece of work!

2. Memoir Bar by Thukral and Tagra and Fica India

Memoir Bar drew everyone’s attention by preserving attendees’ best memories and its related emotions into a tile. And one can witness the memory, once converted, into a museum in Dubai.

3. All Flowers Are For Me by Anila Quayyam Agha

The trippy yet enchanting red colored paper cut-work was the center of attraction where people were compelled to click pictures.

4. Taj Mahal by Sudarshan Shetty

Known as the symbol of eternal love, Taj Mahal is always bound to grab the maximum eyeballs. And same happened at the Sudarshan Shetty’s sculptural installation made by 1000 miniature metallic reproductions of the monument.

5. Woven Chronicle by Reena Saini Kallat

Made out of circuit boards, speakers, electrical wires, and fittings, the art installation actually reflected chaos and disorder at the same time of new worlds.

India Art Fair 2017, which took place at NSIC Grounds, New Delhi from February 2 to 5, was a treat to the eyes and the soul. Don’t feel bad if you missed it this year! They will be back next year, bigger and better! Till then keep drooling with the pictures!
